Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial artist. Her birth date was August 18th in 1986. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in which she was a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight standings on October 3, 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. She was born in Tacoma, Washington. She was a tomboy during her childhood and frequently played on playgrounds with boys.
